Tutorial: Comic Cover Animation in GIMP

So I’m a little (maybe a lot) in love with the animated comic cover assignment and was really excited about learning some stuff in GIMP while I was trying to figure out how to make my own.

I’ve seen a bunch of people commenting here and there on how intimidating GIMP can be, so I wanted to make a quick tutorial that hopefully will be helpful to some of you DS106ers.   I used the free select tool, the clone tool, and some basic layering techniques. On top of that, this will show you how to alter the way your animation plays (by setting the amount of time given to each animation frame) and how to save your work as an animation.   I only get five minutes with this screencast program, so it isn’t terribly extensive, but feel free to send me any questions if you have them.  For real.
