I was so happy when I saw the winner of best beach body of all time: MARILYN MONROE!  It is amazing that after all this time, this timeless beauty still remains popular.  She won this award over women of our time period, what an amazing feat!  In the article Jenny Caven says, “‘This is a good example for young women to see that real woman have curves”.  I agree!  I have spoken about this before and I am still going to voice my opinion about this: we need better body image role models!

I do think that the woman that made the list do deserve it and are role models for women of all ages.  Second place goes to Christina Hendricks whom is someone else I admire.  It is personal to say but I really do battle my body image on a daily basis.  There is not ONE DAY that goes by that I do not think of how I look, it is so hard.  But, hopefully through role models like Marilyn Monroe, Christina Hendricks, Beyonce, Rihanna, Scarlett Johanssen and Kim Kardashian (all of which made the list), women will realize how real women should look.
