Daily Create Update #4

This week’s Daily Creates were once again photo centric. I led off the week with a picture of one of my friends eating a chicken wing with a fork. I didn’t even ask her to do it for the picture, she’s just weird like that.

Next I tried to take a picture of a toy in action. It took forever for me to get a shot of the slinky I got for christmas actually moving. I would set it up at the top of the stairs, give it a push and then leap to the bottom and try to get a shot before it stopped. Even with two people this was a tough one. I finally got it as it was settling on a step.

After this one I had to take a photo of something representing how old I feel. I read the assignment and immediately took a shot of the N64 in my house because I still feel like the freshman who played that every day .

This next one is my favorite from this week. My Roommate’s girlfriend Gwen Corkill likes to paint in our house and leaves her art on the mantle sometimes because lord knows we’re not going to decorate the place. I took one of her paintings and shot it at an angle to try to get the light to shine off of the gold paint differently. It didn’t turn out quite like I expected, but I still like it.

I couldn’t figure out what to take a picture of for my most prized possession. My car is the most valuable thing I own but it isn’t exactly prized. In the end I decided on my giant box of goldfish because they are flavor blasted and I would be very distraught if I ever didn’t have these around.

Lastly, I had to take a picture of a job I once had. I did work as a programmer last summer but I decided to do the job I had before that, lifeguard. I couldn’t find a whistle to photograph but I managed to rustle up my old guard shorts.

That’s it for this week. Looking forward to the next.
