As the great Nasir Jones symbolically stated, “Hip-hop is dead.” So I’m not going to waste your time rapping at you, despite my sick MC skills (cue laughter). I’ll just get to the point. Weeks four and five are done, as are my three visual assignments, six design assignments, and fourteen daily creates. I feel like Leo DeCaprio on the deck of Titanic (“I’m king of the world!”) -before it sinks that is. Bad omen, changing the subject now…

Reflecting back on this process, the hardest part for me is getting to know what to use and how to use it to create the art I see in my mind. I have to learn what is even possible before I can bring them to life. On to week six, sounds and audio assignments. Should I record the sound of me banging my head into the wall? Perhaps I will find some good theme music to inspire me. Stay tuned into SoundCloud for my creations in the up coming week.
