The daily creates that I have completed this past week seems to have taken on an air of nostalgia.
The prompt was to take a photo of an object that represents how old you feel.Ā I feel like converse are my adolescence. This is a pair that I got air brushed with leopard and zebra print a few years ago. They are dirty and well worn, but I love them just as much now as I did the day I laced them up for the first time. I may be growing up but I will always be a bit of a wild child when I slip on a pair of converse.
The secondĀ promptĀ I chose was to take a photo of my most prized possession. I took a photo of the two picture boards that I slapped together the night before I left for my first year of college. I haven’t changed a single picture on these boards. I don’t know what made me pick them but they have stuck with me. I feel like my memories are one thing that I cherish above all else. Sometimes I can remember the mostĀ insignificantĀ detail of a mundane day, but am unable to remember what homework is due for the next day. It works in mysterious ways, but I can take them with me where ever I go.
