Hello Everyone! Happy Monday morning! I have not yet blogged about my final project, so I am doing it now! I want to attempt to learn to play the GUITAR! So here is the back story! I went to a Brad Paisley, Scotty McCreey and The Band Perry concert (by far the best concert I have been to, not to mention I got to meet The Band Perry!), but while watching the concert, I became intrigued about the guitar. I decided this would be a fun something new to give a try.

So update. My boyfriend had a guitar that he so kindly is letting me borrow!  I have been strumming a little just to get use to the feel, fyi guitars are an awkward shape and it’s kind of difficult to hold, at least for me! I have not yet recorded any of my strumming, but will do so in the next few days.  But don’t laugh because this is just me getting use to flopping my arm over a guitar and trying to move my fingers to the various strings.  My mom did so nicely buy me a book to help me get started so this week, I will be cracking open the book.

So thoughts this far, it is slightly more difficult than I though it would be. Here lately there is just so much other work that I have to do for all my classes, I feel like I can not devote enough time to learning how to play yet, but working on it! Goal is to at least play one song, no matter how simple by the end of the semester. Wish me luck! Will blog again soon!
