Happythankyoumoreplease is a 2010 film written and directed by Josh Radnor, who also stars as the protagonist. It’s a movie that I love because it promotes positive thinking and gratitude, which is something I think we need more of in the world.
According to IMDb, the genre of Happythankyoumoreplease is comedy, drama and romantic. I think it has a sort of indie movie feel to it with a positive spin. It’s definitely a feel-good movie in that you feel good, even great, after you watch it. (I sort of really want to watch it now, as a matter of fact.) I’m also a huge fan of Josh Radnor, who’s best known for being Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother. In countless interviews, he talks about bringing more positivity and good things into the world.
“I’ve decided that if I’m going to spend years writing, prepping, casting, shooting, editing, sound mixing, color correcting, and publicizing a movie, I’m going to want it to be the kind of movie I would love, where people grow up and get out of their own ways and open up to something bigger than their own egoic needs. Not because this is a truer version of reality, but because it’s the reality I wish to grow, the kind of world in which I would most like to live. When so much else is calling attention to the dark and dysfunctional, I just don’t feel it’s my job to contribute. Too many people are already on the case.”

(I plan on adding to this later.)
