So if you have met me in real life, you have probably heard me going on about riding the train and going to DC three days a week. Basically, I spend 10 hours a week commuting to and from DC for an internship. Its a lot. Anyway, I wanted my final project to somehow incorporate my commute and my experiences on the Virginia Railway Express and the DC Metro. My idea is to have weekly mini projects where I depict one element of my commuter life.
This week I chose to make a GIF of the Metro warning lights. I don’t know how many people are familiar with the Metro, but as the train approaches, there are lights lining the track that begin to flash. I filmed one of the lights one afternoon and made a GIF of it. Now the train is always approaching!
