For this mini documentary I wanted to talk about marching percussion because it played a huge role in my life in high school and has influenced me and a drummer and a person. I learned a lot about myself and music doing this stuff and not enough people realize how badass it is!!

I used iMovie (again) to make this and it was a lot of finding the right clips on youtube. The cadence just kind of fell in my lap, which was cool, but the clip from our performance was tough. There were lots to choose from (multiple shows and videos) but a lot of them were shitty quality or at bad angles. I eventually settled on the one from the World Championships (mostly because it says world championships in the background) because it had a nice over head views to catch all the running around we were doing, the sound is a little low but it was worth it. The last clip took some real searching, I knew clips like that existed but finding the right one was tough. I decided on the Cavaliers (no relation to UVA) because its a Corp I like and the playing is always top notch!
