My neighborhood at home is really beautiful. It is situated on an old dairy farm that used be called Big Springs Farm, named for the spring that flows right through the neighborhood. The old dairy barn is even still there (you will see it in the video!). The neighborhood was originally designed to be an equestrian neighborhood, so there are quite a few manicured paths that go along the Potomac River. When my brother first saw the place, he said it looked like the Shire from the Lord of the Rings.

It is especially pretty here in the springtime, which is why I knew I wanted to film the creek and the fields here at Big Springs for the Serenity Now assignment. Even better, I was able to do this while riding my horse So really, this was the perfect project for me!

I just took a bunch of nature clips, and using iMovie made it loop through the footage twice. The music I got from Incompetech again, such a useful sight! I will definitely be bookmarking that page. So here it is, a serene spring morning at Big Springs.
