pollock’d

My remixed assignment was to take this story and “pollock” it. In order to do that, I decided to take some of the colors from the original images and use them in a Pollack-style painting. It was actually quite a process. Here are the steps.

Step 1. Go to JacksonPollock.org.

Step 2. Click until I found the color that I wanted.

Step 3. Hit the space bar to clear the screen.

Step 4. Move the mouse around to make a Pollock-style painting. (Clearly, this was the most fun part of the assignment.

Step 5. Open paint.

Step 6. Capture the Pollock-style painting using the print screen button and paste into paint.

Step 7. Crop and save.

Step 8. Repeat for all colors.

Step 9. Go to the iaza online photo editor.

Step 10. Upload a Pollock-style painting image.

Step 11. Select “Transparent” from the top far right column.

Step 12. Click the “Convert” button.

Step 13. Click on the converted image. Right click, save.

Step 14. Repeat for all images.

Step 15. Open Microsoft PowerPoint.

Step 16. Select a background color for the slide.

Step 17. Insert the desired Pollock-style painting images and arrange to heart’s content.

Step 18. Print screen, paste into Paint, save.

Step 19. Repeat for all desired images.

Step 20. Blog about it.
