Alternative Book Cover Tutorial

MY idea for the alternative book cover was to use the title “The great Gatsby” but make it be about a boxer. To start, I went to google to find a picture of a boxer.

I chose this picture because this boxer is celebrating a victory and the boxer in my Great Gatsby story would definitely be a champion. I needed more space in the picture to add the title and the author’s name so I used the paintbrush tool in paint to add some black space at the top to put the title. I then went back in with the text tool and put white text on the top saying “The Great Gatsby”. Lastly, I used black text on the white canvas to put the author’s name. It turned out great. The heavyweight champion of the wooooorld… The Great Gatsby!
