Today’s Daily Create assignment was to “Tell us a family legend about yourself or someone else in your family.”

Looking at some of the others, I see that I could have been much more playful about this assignment.  But I wasn’t.  Instead, I told a story about my grandfather, WWII and gum.  The original version I posted does a better job of keeping to the assignment and relates a conversation I’ll never forget.

Thoughts on which version is better?

Also, I’m not happy about the sound or video quality on the built-in camera used here (as opposed to the Logitech camera I used for yesterday’s video). I need to think more about how to improve my use of my equipment, my sense of optimal settings, and my ability to edit video and audio.
