Breaking Down the Creative Commons

Posted by
|

What Is the Creative Commons

  • a non profit organization that works to increase the amount of creativity
  • allows the body of the work to be available to the public for free and legal sharing, use, and remixing

Useful Resources

  • Sharing photos
  1. The ability to get photos off of the web and share them with people without being punished
  2. Remixing photos to make them “my own” without breaking any copyright laws
  3. Already having permission to share the work without having to contact the company
Copyrighting my work…
  • As of now, I will not be copyrighting my work because the things I used now are previews works that I found. When I finally get into creating my own works, I will definitely be using resources from the CC to aid in the process
