While I’m on the subject of books… I’d like to add that I’m in the process of reading “Beautiful Darkness” by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl which is the second book of the “Beautiful Creatures” series. However, while in Florida I carelessly left the book at somebody’s house when I was almost finished! Ah the anticipation to finish is killing me!

I am super excited because the movie is coming out soon! I think that this movie is going to be awesome, just the casting alone got me excited. There have been so many books that were turned into movies that I was disappointed with due to the casting. Lena is just the way I pictured her its actually weird. And Ethan originally had a different actor playing him but that fell through. However I like the current actor for him so much more, I wasn’t happy with the first one.

And Jack O’Connell is playing Ethan:

They literally fit the vision I had in my head perfectly. This series is about “casters” or witches and really paints a perfect picture of the south. It makes me feel like I’m in the south as I read it and this book really brings you to a new world. What I would do for an imagination like Margaret and Kami!

My advice to you readers over the summer: read “Beautiful Creatures” before it becomes a movie in 2013! I feel like it will become the next big thing.
