One day, Rossanna and her friend Melissa went to the beach. It was a very nice day in May, and the beach was quiet and relaxing. The sun was shining and the waves were…waving.
Rossanna then spent her summer doing other summer things. And by “summer things,” I mean lazy things. Like watching television for time periods way too long to be healthy and going to pools and laying out in the sun and hanging out with friends and just having an all around good time.
In the midst of all the summer fun-having, Rossanna also balanced two jobs. She made Starbucks drinks for Target patrons and sold cell phones to members of Costco.
Now, this was a big, big summer for Rossanna. A lot of changes happened. She met a lot of new people, went to new places, saw new sights, and thought new thoughts. The most important change for Rossanna this summer was moving out and into an apartment.
Along with Rossanna’s apartment, she also got a kitty named Juniper who she absolutely adores.
Now the summer is winding down and coming to a close, but Rossanna is very excited about what the future has in store for her. Because if there’s one thing Rossanna learned this big, important, too long but too short summer, it’s that everything will be alright.
