Weekly Reflection:

This week was a learning process for me, I took a more direct approach in my work for this class and started mass tweeting with my Radio show group. We plan to meet on Monday to start our radio project work. A link to the summary post for our group: http://alexspangler.com/blog/2012/09/25/radio-show-group-1-formatthemediscussions/

Once I dove into the bulk of the work this week, I learned lots of cool things from the assignments (how to manipulate images and what a few good ideas can lead to) and several interesting websites that make working with pictures much less overwhelming. Shout out to http://www.picmonkey.com/!!

One learning curve I am still working on is how to best use my phone for my main source of photography. I find my pictures to be satifactory in most case some even good, but I am just not getting great shots everytime I use it. This next coming week I am going to start searching for some useful IPhone apps and I even read that the newest update includes a panoramic shot option.

This section is probably my favorite yet, I find myself being more creative in a manner that I am able to do relatively well. My drawing and painting skills have always been lack luster however with a camera I feel like I can keep up.

Daily Creates:

This first one is to highlight that bald man you know, so of course me loving to tease my Uncle and his friends.  The true nature of this picture is there is a good reason besides golf that they are all wearing hats in this picture *hint* they are bald.

This daily create wanted you to illustrate an animal that you admired in an abstract way. Now granted my art skills are not amazing to begin with so I figured if I tried to draw a yellowfin tuna in paint it would come out abstract whether I tried or not.

This daily create was to take a picture of painted on a wall advertising, this Dr. Pepper advertisement is in the city Lynchburg, Home. It is located in the historic downtown area near a farmer’s market. It is on the side of an old grocery store, green grocers.
