For our ds106 radio show we decided on a radio drama about a family road trip. The family will play road games and have singalongs, the whole nine yards! They will have so much fun, and it will be a bonding experience. The fun will end when the family breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Each member of the group will portray a different family member and bring something new to the table when trying to come up with solutions to their problem of being stranded. Although their road-trip did not go as planned, the family became so much closer in the end.

We will most likely use a lot of dialogue and sound effects.The sound effects for this story are endless! There are lots of different car sounds, such as car doors, the car starting, brakes squealing, the car backfiring, seat-belts clicking, the radio playing/radio static, other cars speeding by, etc.

Our group is currently communicating through canvas and will probably meet in person to plan more specific details in the near future. We can’t wait!
