For my Computer Books for Kids assignment I took a book I loved as a kid If I Ran the Zoo and re-wrote the title as a computer/internet book.

It was a pretty simple process to replace the word “zoo” with the logo for youtube. I can’t imagine the text of this book being to interesting to a child and if I ran youtube I don’t know what I’d do differently than the folks there now. I haven’t been happy with some of the changes in the user interface, but that’s the story for most of the web, people resist change. Maybe I would subsidize the creation of more “kittens on roomba’s” videos. They are a personal favorite of mine.
