A Boy Named Oscar

Once a year, the Fandom Princess loved, and we mean loved, to sit and watch on her magical television a program that revolved around a boy, or statue, named Oscar. The event consisted of watching beautiful witches and wizards, trolls, elves, tributes, hobbits, and everyone the Princess looked up to gathered in another kingdom to socialize and receive awards. And as she watched the show, and invited a few of her friends from her fandoms to watch as well, she would dream about the day that she would join them in their fun. The ultimate happy ending.

Well, in case that was a bit vague, I am currently watching The 85th Annual Academy Awards, or the Oscars for short! This is one of my favorite nights of the year, and the fact that I am doing homework while watching it kind of baffles me… but, we must do what we have to do, right? So, onward with the reflection of this week!

Firstly, our radio group, aka, the Dot.Commers, have decided that we are going to base our radio show on social issues! This theme is something that we want to be discussion based and leave it open ended because it seems as if all of us have an opinion on some aspect of society (of course). A design logo, for me anyway, is honestly still in the works, but I am very excited to be working with such a group of talented bloggers. I know only good things will come from us and the show that we plan on broadcasting.

Secondly, here y’all will be able to find my post summarizing my experiences while doing the Design Safari! Once again, this assignment was eye-opening, a lot of fun, and helped me to appreciate the art of designing, something that I already had an interest in before we did the assignment.

Thirdly, here is where my Design Assignment stars can be found! I had so much fun with these!

And last, but certainly not least, my Daily Creates! Someone snuggled in blankets, my fondest memory, and an opposite caption for a picture! Boom!

Until next week everyone! Off to watch some Oscars! =D
