Summary:
Alright, well these past couple weeks mainly focused on the radio show project, so outside of the usual daily creates and other assignments, the group project was the biggest task. My main issue at first with the group project was just trying to communicate with everyone (I’m anti twitter to the point where I forgot I had one and missed a bunch of tweets by fellow members). Especially since this whole class is online, it was just hard to communicate to the group, which led us to just meeting in person to organize everything, which made the project much simpler. The easiest part about doing the project was that it seemed like certain people had picked up different things about this class, so it was as if we were teaching each other helpful hints, while also getting the work done.
For the actual radio show, I’d like to think I did step a little outside my comfort zone in our story cause my character was the more aggressive leader, which is quite the opposite in reality. And from what I can tell, it seemed like our group as a whole did a similar thing by acting differently than normal. The finished product was a bit shorter than intended, but I think the fact that we came up with a script and all discussed things to toss in helps it run pretty smoothly.
Now in regards to the intensive audio, I never really felt uncomfortable with audio since I had some, although minimal, experience dating back to high school with GarageBand. But what I would love to know from anyone else is what programs they use, cause even though I like GarageBand and think it’s pretty simple, it may be a little too simple in that there’s just not enough to tweak using it.
