Closer than you Realize

Have you ever felt ill at ease in a new situation? Gone somewhere you’ve never been, and felt out of place? Have you ever visited another country, or even another state?

If you answered Yes to any of the above questions I have important news for you.

You are or have been an ALIEN.

Do not be alarmed, distressed, or inflammatory! It is very likely that this condition has or will wear off with time and exposure. It has only minor side effects, which include disorientation, memory problems, disassociation, excessive stress, curious behavior, possible homicidal habits, a strong desire to go home, stomachache, nausea, headache, fever, drymouth, constipation, rashes, welts and diarrhea.

If you have or are surviving your exposure to a new situation, experience, or location, it is likely that you will continue to do so without any ill effects. These feelings of ALIENATION will only worsen if you take medication to alleviate them. Instead, embrace your inner ALIEN! It is an incredible teacher. Increased adaptability is a major result of this process – and as you are more comfortable in a life less ordinary, less will make you feel ALIEN, and you will be able to lessen the ALIEN feelings of others.

The above was written in response to a Daily Create Challenge to Prove or Disprove the Existence of ALIENS.  Of course aliens exist! Now, if you meant me to argue whether Extraerrestrials have ever encountered Earth, well – you should have said so!
