The ds106 laboratory was closed the last few weeks due to a lack of qualified staff, but we turned on the lights in the basement tonight to resume our experimenting and demonstrating. This week was a run through of video editing in iMovie, reproducing the Charlie Chaplin video assignment Alan did as a demo.
Even if you do not use iMovie, the principles should be applicable in other applications- importing clips, separating audio and video tracks, insert edits, aligning media on the timeline, and more.
