Lament

“So Harold,” the Fandom Princess asked as they embarked towards town. They had made a pit stop to the Princess’s chambers in order to grab some last minute supplies and were now on their way. “How long have you been in this form?”

“Not long, my Princess. Merely four moon cycles. I spent half of those moon cycles traveling down to these woods to find you,” Harold croaked. “You are… quite popular, your majesty.”

The Princess rolled her eyes. For once, she didn’t want to hear about her successes. She only wanted to focus on helping Harold. “It’s nothing. I’m only kind to those who deserve it… which is everyone, I suppose.”

“And that,” Harold said. “Is your strength. You are one of a kind, young Princess. You’ll be destined to do great things.”

The Princess smiled. “You’re a darling, Harold, thank you. Now then, tell me, what do you seek in a maiden?”

The Princess listened diligently as the two wandered into town, her left hand held out so Harold could sit comfortably on it. She listened as he told her how he cared not of looks, but of heart. How he wanted a maiden of humbleness, kindness, with a sense of adventure. The Princess found herself blushing, as he seemed to be describing someone just like her, until she remembered that this may be easier than she thought. All she had to do was find someone in town who she believed somewhat be just like her! Easy as gooseberry pie!

“We’re going to take a small detour, dearest Harold,” she said as they strolled past shops and inns and busy people bustling around.

“Where to, Princess?”

“To the Fandoms, of course,” she simply stated.

Well, folks, the Princess isn’t very happy with herself this week. Yeah, I admit it. I bombed these last few week’s duties. Between work and my other classes that are, well, not digital/entirely online, I completely managed to forget about the video assignments all in one week and boy am I kicking myself in the but for it! It’s definitely not something that I planned on making a habit of doing, nor something that I ever want to happen again, but for this week, rather than turn in crappy work on time, I’d rather just turn in the work that I tried hard to make great and take the fall. We all make our bed and have to lay in it sometimes, after all.

Here are the links to my video assignments as follows:

Special Delivery

Pixie Cluster

The Ice-Keeper

Toad Tales

As stated, this week (or last two weeks) were definitely my slacker/failing weeks and it’s totally something that I didn’t mean to happen. It’s definitely reaching that time in the year, however, where everything is starting to pile on top of one another. And being a senior, OH MAN. Senioritis is fighting hard to stay in the system, but I know better than to let it. Hopefully this week’s lack in princess power doesn’t let my readers down too much. Next week, I promise you’ll get the old Princess back, with a little bit more of her sugar and spice. Until next week.
