Boston Update
Friday evening, neighborhoods in Boston were locked down after the tedious “manhunt” for the remaining suspect of the Boston Bombing: Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Authorities say, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev and his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev were behind this deadly act, leaving three people dead and over 200 people injured. Before being captured, the two suspects exchanged gunfire with the police; Tamerlan Tsarnaev was critically injured and later died at a hospital while Dzhokhar escaped. The hunt ended after hours of searching, when the 19 year old was found on Friday night hiding under blankets on a boat in a backyard of Watertown. He was found in serious condition with gunshot wounds to his head, legs and hands and was sent to the hospital. It was there where he confessed, that him and his brother did not have the help of any outside sources, they acted alone. Prosecutors charged Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on Monday in his hospital room, with use of a weapon of mass destruction and malicious destruction of property resulting in death. If convicted he faces the possibility of the death penalty.
