I think this project is really helping me see other sides of people, of course in a good way.
So for this time, I asked two of the Korean Exchange Students who live in Ball Hall and their names are Joo-Young and So-Yun aka Serena, respectively in the picture. For whatever reason, although we all live in the same dorm, we rarely see each other so this was a good opportunity to get to know each other.

One of the things that I found out about Joo-Young was that she looooves to drink haha but it’s not like she’s drunk all the time, it’s just that she likes the atmosphere when drinking with her friends. She also likes to run in which I think it’s not really common for typical Korean women. On the other hand, unlike many of us, she said she doesn’t enjoy going on a trip because for whatever reason, nothing really worked out for her whenever she decided to go on a trip. She also said she even hesitated to come here because she was afraid that something was going to go wrong. :/

Unlike Joo-Young, Serena said one of her favorite things to do is going on a trip. She also mentioned that she really wants to visit Spain at least once in her life time. She didn’t really mention anything about her dislikes…she seems to enjoy every part of her life haha

I was very glad that I got to meet them and got to know them a little better. Hope you guys get a chance to meet them as well! They’re going to be in the States only about a year though and I believe they’re heading back to Korea in May
