I decided to do a slight variation on the minimalist travel poster assignment. Instead of doing a travel destination, I decided to do a concert event. I created a minimalist concert poster for Plavalaguna, the tentacled blue diva in the movie “The Fifth Element”. I recently downloaded GIMP, which is pretty much a free photoshop that works for Macs. The final product is a little rough, but it was good practice messing around with GIMP.
