Personal Cyberinfrastructure

There is an urgency in the education system to catch up with the rest of the world. A course such as this one is long overdue. There are so many parts of the internet that people have been limited to their own ignorance. Why not expand out of your typical social networking sites and create a world of your own where you are the controller and artist. I think the idea is one of endless possibilities. We’ve rely on books and outdated information to teach us for long enough to begin a crippling effect. We are not being challenged enough. Also, the thought that one must be a genius to build there own cyberinfrastructure is exactly the kind of attitude that discourages people from exploring. Its the fear of failure or that they may press the wrong button when the reality is that they aren’t pressing enough buttons. I have a new found respect for the cyber world and a new found interest in building a foundation where i can express and learn from amazing people with great thoughts, idea and attitudes towards learning and getting better. See you at the center of the internet.
