I was a little bit at a loss of what to photograph for the Daily Create today. The assignment was to take a picture with an interesting blur effect. I cast about my room for a few minutes and found my (slightly deflated) rugby ball under my bed. With Mike, my boyfriend and ever-willing prop for these assignments, we wasted a good fifteen minutes just spinning the ball around in different ways and taking pictures of it. I was pretty excited by the results. I especially liked how his hand is almost completely still, while the ball is spinning. It took a while to get the timing down…but then I got a few cool ones:

Really fun! This may encourage further photography sessions involving a rugby ball – possibly more exciting ones outdoors.
