My next visual assignment was to make an album cover using random websites and pictures.

The random wikipedia page I was taken to was entitled “HouseholdHacker”, which is a YouTube channel that shows common “hacks” or solutions to problems with computers.

The random quote ended in “completely lacking in meaning.” I thought this was a good fit.

Lastly, I went to Flickr and took the third picture from the interesting pics in the last seven days. It was a coffee cup, so I was confused about how I would use this.

I put the name of the band at the top left, and the name of the album along the bottom. The font for the name of the album gets larger and larger until the word “meaning” is the biggest. A coffeecup is a household object so that ended up fitting perfectly with my band name. My next question was, “how do I incorporate the hacker/computer aspect?” It hit me. I took the windows logo and pasted it on the coffee drop that is coming out of the cup. I think it turned out alright and I was surprised how the random websites actually came together to make what I could actually see as an album cover!
