The assignment today was to emphasize the detail of a human hand. I didn’t take a picture of my own, I chose my mother’s hands. Her hands are almost 50 years old, with a lot of definition through wrinkles, veins and scars. Her hands show hard work and love.

“A mother holds her children’s hands for a while, their hearts forever.”

These are the hands that take care of me.
