This is my first 1-star assignment, and it was really easy. I did learn a cool editing trick doing it though. I started with a picture of James Gosling, the father of Java, and then pasted an already-cropped picture of a burger into a new layer on top of it. Here’s the trick I learned: I made the burger layer invisible, then selected Mr. Gosling’s hand using Paint.NET’s magic wand tool. I then selected the burger as the active layer, and deleted the hand selection from it. This left the actual hand intact while deleting from the burger the places where Mr. Gosling’s fingers needed to show through. Long story short, selections’ outlines persist between layers. That’s pretty cool.
