TDC29 Make a photo of something upside down that is never seen that way.
I took this photo at work, it’s a picture of my fellow baristas upside down. Josh (the upside-down one) actually fell on his head right after this was taken. It was almost very bad!
TDC030 Share an image of a place that you lose things in your house.
This is a picture of my kitchen cabinet. It may look organized but I am constantly losing spices and other things in here!
TDC31 Create a photograph that represents the happiest or most memorable moment in your life.
This chest has been in my family for a long time. It was in the attic of my family’s 1780 house in Louisville, KY for probably over 100 years. Now it sits in my room and I put all of my memories and memorabilia in it. It contains tons of old pictures and letters that are all associated with memories from my life.
TDC32 Make a photo that represents something you aspire to do or be one day.
I want to be an archivist and a specialist in rare and antique books. This is a picture of my desk with lots of my Grandma’s old books from the twenties. The book that is open is an old Geography textbook copyrighted in 1855. I really want to go to NYU and get my masters in archival science – then I can look through old books and documents all day long!
TDC33 Confusion – Take a picture of confusion.
Another Friday night at work means…. another daily create picture taken at work! This picture only shows half the syrups that Blackstone has. Every time I go to pump a syrup I have to spend at least 30 seconds looking for it because someone has inevitably moved it. The worst ones to find are the ones that no one ever uses…like orange, lime, caramel apple and sugar-free-raspberry. It’s confusing and frustrating!
TDC34 Take a photo that emphasizes the detail of a human hand.
I took this after another long Saturday night at work. I almost completely forgot to take a daily create picture that day and then remembered as I was putting toothpaste on my toothbrush at the end of the night.
TDC035 Got tats? Photograph your own or someone else’s cool tattoo.
This is my best friend’s tattoo – the Hebrew word for “clay.” She chose this tattoo because of her belief that God formed her and continues to mold her as a potter shapes clay. It stands a constant reminder to her of her purpose in life.
