TDC37 Take a photo of a toy in action

This is my super nintendo. It’s definitely one of my prized posessions. I have a large collection of games, of which my favorites are probably Donkey Kong Country, Aladdian and Uniracers. This is my favorite toy in action.

TDC37 Take a photo of an object that represents how old you feel.

I decided to wait all day to take my picture so that I could take it really late at night. This is the clock that sits next to my bed and it reads 1:23 am. I feel like staying up till the wee hours of the morning on a weeknight represents feeling like a studious college student. In any case, my alarm here is set for 9:00 am so I guess being a college student isn’t so bad?

TDC39 Take a photo of a bird today

Beau had it out for his bird toy this night! He loves to play fetch, it’s a little weird. We’ll throw a toy across the apartment and he’ll fly after it, put it in his mouth and run back and put it in our hands. I’ve never met another cat to do that! Also, he turned 1 year old this week!

I am unimpressed with this photo but this is a plate that sits on my beside table. I always put my glasses on it before I go to sleep. I’ve always loved the delicate painted flowers on the plate but they are usually hidden by my glasses! This is art…influenced by me!

TDC41 Take a photo of your most prized possession.

This is my watch and it might be my most prized possession. I went out of town for the day on Saturday and didn’t really have any “possessions” with me so I was in a bit of a pinch. But then I realized that there is something that I never go anywhere without – my watch! I purchased this gem for $1 at The Goodwill and I’ve worn it every day since. So I wouldn’t really call this most prized, but definitely very important.

This is my pride and joy – meet La Marzocco, Blackstone’s espresso machine! I am in love with this machine. It was very difficult to learn at first, but now it’s so much fun to use. There are a lot of different parts on this machine. The nobs on each end are for the steam wands. There are three portifilters, which are the three black handles in the middle of the machine. The three white buttons on top press the boiling water through the portifilters to pull the espresso. The white button on the end pulls boiling water for tea or pour overs. There are a lot of other features but those are the main ones! Lucky for me, I had to work this day so it was easy to take a picture!
