For my Sound Effects Story, I created a scene in which someone is cooking a burger. It starts with opening the wrapper that the meat is in, frying it, flipping it, then accidentally catching it on fire! That’s where the fire sound comes in, followed by the cook’s gasp. The cook then calls 9-1-1, and a firetruck is on its way.

All of my sounds came from www.freesound.org. It was as easy as searching for key words, and SO many sounds came up automatically. I was amazed at how many sounds I could actually find. There’s something for everything! Definitely a fun and creative assignment.
