Web 2.0oooohHhHhh

No lie, I glazed over while reading about Web 2.0, but I got a little excited when Netscape came into play. Oh, the browser of… 5th grade? But anyway, that’s about the extent of my knowledge of Web 1.0, but I liked the way O’Reilly explained the difference between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0. He said Netscape is Lotus, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft, and Google is eBay, Amazon, and Napster. Products vs. services and what will consumers choose? [AHH, economics, something I semi-understand as opposed to all the verbose internet lingo in this article. Can I get a glossary please (ohhh, maybe I’ll make one)?] They’ll choose the free one apparently. Yes, there are more differences than just this, but what I gathered was a pretty basic PBS Kids principle; sharing is goooood.
