30 Second Documentary

For this 3 star assignment, I chose to do a “how-to” type documentary. The documentary is on how to tape the butt end of a lacrosse stick. I tried as hard as I could to get it down to 30 seconds but I went a little over.

How did I do this? (Tutorial)

1. I filmed the tutorial without thinking about time (It was probably about 3 minutes).

2. I then cut out all the the time where I was doing things that didn’t need to be seen. For example, I cut out all the part where I cut the tape and I didn’t show when I would tape the same way for a long time.

3. I then cut out any small sections in between me talking where it was silent because I needed to cut down every second that I could.

4. Lastly, I sped up some parts. I used iMovie to speed up two clips where I was taping the stick.

I never realized how short 30 seconds is!
