To me The Sixth Sense is an example of a great film. The plot is basically of an eight year old kid named Cole played by Haley Joel Osment, who is haunted by dead people and a child psychiatrist named Malcolm Crowe played by Bruce Willis, who is trying to help him. In the movie this scene I believe best describes the whole movie in one famous line “I see dead people.” This part is where Cole feels as though Malcolm earned his trust enough to tell him his secret. Below is a screenshot of when Cole told Malcolm his secret and a clip of the scene as well. http://youtu.be/ZSNyiSetZ8Y
The next scene is another favorite of mine, when Cole helps a little girl who died because of her mother who was making her sick. Being that he could see dead people she came to visit him. To use him to get to her dad to tell him the things that were going on when he wasn’t home and what his wife was doing. When he got to her house he was given a video that he was to give to her father. Below you will see both clips, the first is when Malcolm Crowe is telling Cole to figure out what the ghost want and then she came to visit him and the second is when he went to the funeral to give the dad the daughter’s message. Below is a picture of the mother she has this blank stare on her face looking at her husband. She didn’t know he was going to find out and luckily he did so she won’t do it to the younger daughter. But the weirdest thing is that she’s the only person at the funeral wearing all red. (Part 1) watch?v=6krAmupagd0

The next scene is the ending of the movie. I believe this ending was as much as a surprise to me as it was to other people and it was also a very good one. Malcolm Crowe figured out that he is a ghost himself. He didn’t know he was dead but he did know he was shot by a patient he used to help. In order for him to have peace with himself he had to help someone because he couldn’t help the young man who killed himself in the beginning. That’s why he helped Cole as much as he did.
