To completed the “Framed” assignment, I chose to use a video that I have loved for a few years now called “Muffins.” It used to be extremely popular, so I’m sure many of you have already seen it. For those who haven’t, it’s a staged video of a guy pretending to be a little boy and the boy’s mother at the same time, creating all different crazy types of muffins for breakfast. Here’s the whole video so you can check it out for yourself:

I chose the following frame to represent the whole video for a couple reasons. Although there are so many different types of muffins shown in the video, this one seems to be the most extreme and the most distracting. Who would go near a muffin that’s on fire?! Additionally, it shows the guy dressed up as the boy’s mother. Since she’s the main focus of the video, it would clearly make sense to include her (his) crazy face in the main frame.
