The remix I chose to do here was the Defamiliarize project, where you take pictures of familiar things at different angles and in different lighting to make them unfamiliar. The remix was “Fox News”, to turn up the volume and intensity. I found pictures on Mandi’s blog for her Defamiliarize project here, http://www.wanderthisworld.com/mission-defamiliarize/. I thought they looked futuristic so I went to youtube and found some futuristic, robotic music to put in the background of a slideshow(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1ufAm6POkU). I wanted to turn up the intensity and give it some loud, suspenseful music. It turned out well and it definitely has the robotic/futuristic feel I intended. It could be the opening scene for a futuristic movie!
