Week 3 (part 2): Getting up and running with RSS for ds106

One way to manage the firehose of content that is this site will be using an RSS Reader like Google Reader. I’ve written up some details of the process, including some useful links and the blog URLs for each of the UMW for-credit sections.

Additionally you can find the single feed (which is simply http://ds106.us/feed) for all the syndicated content for the entire course.

The guide I created for helping you along with the process is housed in the ds106 wiki here, and anyone who has an account on ds106.us can login and edit that page, so feel free to add resources, update URLs, etc.

Finally, the blogroll on the sidebar of this site lists all the blogs being pulled in, and also separates out the blogs for the UMW for-credit sections 3 and 4 (and Martha Burtis’s section 1 may be added shortly).

Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below. And check out the guide here.

my blog on the blogroll seems to be the original one on blogger, ot the latest one I thought I had uploaded last week from WordPress on my own website. I suspect we will clear this up later today. Thanks :)
