Today was my mom’s birthday…some years ago she arrived here and I was lucky enough to get her as my mom.  I love her more than anyone on the face of the planet. She’s the only one who has always stuck by me no matter what.  We fight quite a bit but we usually can work it out. Since I couldn’t be at home today to hug her I sent her flowers and donated blood (that last part is probably weird/creepy to most who read this, but blood donation has always been a big thing for my mom…she used to donate every 8 weeks like clock work.) One pint is enough to save a life.  I pumped my pint out in 12 minutes today. Last year it took 14 minutes…improvement! So even though some of you will think this disgusting it meant a lot to her and that means the world to me.
