How to Get Flickr Notifications for Comments

Today in class there was a question about how to change your flickr settings so that you would get emails when people commented on your picture. I had this set up by default, but itā€™s actually quite easy to change. Iā€™ve taken screenshots, so you can follow the steps below, always highlighting what you need to click on in each picture. First, just go to flickr, and click on your name on the top right:

Next, click on the ā€œEmails and Notificationsā€ tab:

Next, click on ā€œEditā€ for your recent activity emails:

Finally, select the option notification option that youā€™d like! The top option will have you get emails as soon as someone comments, while the next group the responses to once-a-day or once-a-week emails. The last option turns it off entirely.

And youā€™re done!
