For my web story I edited the home page of the Wall Street Journal. My intention was to poke fun at the WSJ and the kind of people reading it as well as address something of the underlying ideology of the news organization. It’s exaggerated and over the top but still not too far off from the original.

Pretty much everything is changed. The overall layout remains the same and I kept some of the pictures if I felt I could write new stories for them. I did take out a few sections at the bottom because I was running low on ideas and I had already done a great amount.

This was a fun project aside from using Firebug, which was laggy for me and caused a few problems. But I liked the chance to be creative and satirize the WSJ.
