This week felt less unnatural than the last and I’m feeling more at home here on my blog.
TDC#239: “Take a photo showing the wide open space, the great outdoors.”
I interpreted the instructions liberally, these are as wide open as spaces get in the suburbs!
TDC#241: “Take a photograph of a spinning object, frozen motion or blurred.”
This may or may not have been motivated by a desire to show off my new watch.
TDC#244: “Take a picture of something being worn as a hat that has absolutely no business being worn as a hat.”
I am ashamed to say this isn’t the first time I’ve done this.
I really enjoyed reading about Creative Commons this week, it’s a topic I am pretty passionate about, see my post here.
I’ve always enjoyed GIF’s and it was great to make one of the my own. Cool Hand Luke is one of my all time favorite movies, so it was an easy choice for my assignment. Can’t say it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done, see my trials and tribulations on my post.
I am happy with my blog, I think I’m in a happy medium between “original template” and “over-customization” but I will keep my eyes peeled for additional plugins to utilize. I am really enjoying the course so far and I think my blog is a good reflection of who I am. The only thing I might need help on is keeping up with everything. Not that I have a hard time doing the assignments, but remembering to tag, assign categories, and things of that nature will take some getting used to.
Also, a few things I missed last week:
Here is my about page,
Here is an embedded youtube video of one of my favorite songs:
and I figured out twitter and declared my affection for the Washington Redskins:
Saints are toast #HTTR
