When the word storytelling comes to mind, it instantly brings back memories of my elementary school years.  Storytelling to me is a way in which people can share their imagination.  Some storytelling can be based on real life experiences while others can have the made up creatures that only a 5 year old hyped on sugar could think of. Storytelling has no limit to the creativity one can use and many times storytelling helps to tell the history of ones family or culture.  Before people started documenting event that occurred in the world, history was solely reliant on storytelling.   I feel that majority of people think of little kids when they think of the word storytelling, but really storytelling is incorporated into everyday life and did not just exist in our elementary years.

When you have the word “digital” in-front of storytelling the thought of mass media comes to mind.  To me adding digital to the front instantly increases the audience in which the storytelling is being portrayed to.  It also helps in adding more visual creativity and imagination to the story.
