This week we review the accomplishments of the the new ds106 bootcamp graduates at UMW and being the examination of what is storytelling, what makes the digital special. Our guests will bring perspective on character building. The theme this week is What Mean Ye Storytelling.
Our invited guests include:
- Bryan Alexander, storytelling guru, author of The New Digital Storytelling
- Brian Short producer for the Moth, Writing prof at University of Michigan (teaching his own ds106-ish course), and hopefilly his buddy Bagman will make an appearance.
- Todd Conaway long time ds106 open participant, survivor of the Summer of Oblivion, who will channel hos own character created Ol’ Hatchet Jack
- Martha Burtis veteran ds106 teacher, my co-diretor for Camp Magic Macguffin, and genius behind much of the dsq06 web site.
