The Beginning of the End

Yes, that is correct. I, Andrew Boswell, am pretty excited to be taking Digital Storytelling this semester.  I’ve wanted to take this course since my freshman year at the University of Mary Washington and now as a senior, I’ve finally managed to get in. Between my freshman and senior years, I created my own Digital Studies major.  I want to contribute and possibly expand the current Digital  era by using the various tools that I’ve acquired with my major. If you want to know more about that and the projects that I’ve done with those tools, you can check out the SoundCloud below!

If I had my microphone, I would have explained my projects in a bit more detail instead of using a text-to-speech program.

Anyway, since middle school, I’ve been spending my free time online or creating various videos to upload to sites like YouTube. I used to create music videos with clips of television shows until they finally decided to hit me with copyright infringement strikes. I even tried a Let’s Play for my Freshman Seminar, Video Game Canon. The video below is me playing the famous Slenderman game from early 2012-2013 for said course.

I don’t know what else to say, but I wish everyone luck throughout the course! If you want to get in touch with me and want to know more about what I do, you can check my Twitter above. Also check out my Flickr for some random images and a few gifs that I made.

good luck
