Du Pont Circle: A Right Of Passage

Something interesting came up at work a couple of weeks ago when I was talking to my boss and coworker. Apparently 3 out of 4 of us (including me) each have a Du Pont story. After hearing about this revelation, we decided it should be a right of passage/initiation to drag all future employees to Du Pont Circle (as long as we know they’re straight). We plan on starting by stealing our full timer, Derek, from his girlfriend and dragging him to Apex.

For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, Du Pont Circle is a very preppy district of Washington, DC. A lot of “colorful” people can be found there… Before anyone goes and shouts out racist comments, know that I’m not being racist. When I mean colorful, I mean like all the colors in the rainbow. I’m talking about gays. In Du Pont, the men are gay, the women are gay, the children are potentially gay, and even the gangstas are gay.

Speaking of homosexuality, a friend and I are thinking of doing this skit and we need a really macho frat-boy looking dude to play the “wheregay”

Final notice/disclaimer/whathaveyou: this post doesn’t mean I’m gay. It’s really a just for kicks kind of thing. I also intend on making a Du Pont vlog entry.
