Final Project: Learning about Pakistani Weddings

I want to post the first part of my final project. Like I said before, I want to portray my culture through digital storytelling! For the first post on this, I want to show you all how a Pakistani wedding is. A lot of different  traditions and practices go into this. The wedding usually lasts three days, with each day representing something different. The first day is called the Mendhi, which is the pre-wedding day, just to celebrate the day to come. It is a day where everyone dresses up in colorful clothes, a lot of dancing happens, and many other traditions take place!

I want to introduce you to this very colorful and fun event!  I am in a lot of these pictures because they were taken at my cousins wedding. I hope you enjoy the Photostory I have created. I downloaded it here.
